+2 Humanities
Storytellers. Thinkers. Changemakers.
A liberal-arts +2 program built for curious minds who want to understand people, society and ideas β and lead change through words, research and policy.
+2 Humanities : For students who think in ideas, not equations.
Texas +2 Humanities is a liberal-arts foundation built aroundΒ Sociology, Mass Communication, Optional English and Social Studies & Life Skills EducationΒ β the four pillars that prepare students for careers in journalism, social research, public policy, law, education, psychology and creative industries.
Unlike rote-heavy approaches, our Humanities classes emphasizeΒ reading widely, writing clearly and arguing well. Students complete real field projects β surveying local communities, producing short documentaries through the Mass Communication wing, and presenting research at the annual interdisciplinary conferences hosted by the Texas RLD Department.
The program is taught by a faculty including senior educators in Social Science (Mr. Om Nath Kadariya, Mr. Madhav Poudel), Mass Communication & Journalism (Mr. Sitaram Koirala, Mr. Prakash Guragain, Mr. Rupesh Shrestha) and Social Work / Psychology (Mr. Ananta Chalise, Mr. Manoj Khadka, Ms. Shrijana Pradhan).
Build a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, complemented by dedicated Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering preparation from Grade XI.
